What is a 1X2 bet?
The simplest market in football betting — and still one of the most useful once you know how to read it.
1X2 is the classic match-winner market: "1" for a home win, "X" for a draw, "2" for an away win. Every fixture gets its own set of three prices, one for each outcome, and you're backing a single result rather than a goal total or a combined condition.
It's the market we lean on when a fixture has a genuinely clear favourite — a stronger side at home to a struggling opponent, or a top club with a settled run of form against a side missing key players. Where the gap in quality is less obvious, we'll usually point you toward Double Chance or Draw No Bet instead, since both soften the risk of a draw spoiling an otherwise sound read of the match.
As with every market on this site, a 1X2 pick comes with a confidence score alongside the odds — treat that score as our own read of the fixture, and the odds as the market's. When the two agree, that's usually the strongest signal.
